The transmission does have a slight jerking feel to it as well. It does use some engine oil and the final drives leak a little also. It has a 4 cylinder diesel gm engine Detroit does have several hydraulic cylinders that leak, not pouring out.

Just had a new core made and put in the radiator. Not exactly sure of all the specs to machine. I also have parts, service and operators manual for Allis Chalmers HD-5 had ordered it. This is either a late 40s or early 50s model.

Equipment gross wet weight is approximately 17,000 can be hauled on goose neck trailer with a minimum of 1 ton truck. It has quite a bit of power. Makes for a good farm use, but wouldn't recommend it commercial construction use. It does also have some worn out pins and bushings on a couple of the cylinders.
