The pic of dash was taken w out machine running notice is indicating rpm when it running, needle pegs - no idea. Note that this is not a gushing pressurized leak - just drip. The pots are engaged through a dual clutch system, so you can stop or slow tractor down while it is in gear w out stopping PTO if desired pushing 1/2 way transmission, and other.
No idea what the difference is, but assume it is just an iteration of one that they started with at initial production. 50-15 front - all are in great condition and do not leak.
This seems to be a common problem with John deere tractors. It fires right up warm or cold and has lots of power. I have not gotten a quote to fix this, but labor would be the killer - probably 600 dollars or so. The engine is rated at 39 hp, and it has a 3 speed with reverse transmission range gearbox supposedly - I never figured out where 3rd rear tires 27x8.
The only thing that really needs attention on it is rear end leaking. Unfortunately, it is too big for navigating around all the trees, shrubs and other obstacles at my place. Tractor data says 4tn84 yanmar diesel engine, but the tag on this engine actually 4tne88-elan. I mowed several acres with it at MC mostly open area and was great for that.
Awesome yanmar powered 2wd John deere with just over 2000 hours. It also has power steering and diff lock. I tried a 60 inch zero turn, and that was also bust because the thing hopeless in ditches on my big hill. This machine is in great condition and ready to mow.
This tractor has a 3pt with top link and both 540 rear PTO 2100 mid which is currently connected to 72 belly mower that comes. I bought it because my 425 is just not a big enough machine for the amount of yard have, but couple times mowing w this thing and clearly opposite issue. It runs and drives smooth mows great.
This is a really nice looking small tractor - big enough for real jobs, but not too to maneuver compared fully sized machine. I don't have time to mess around with wishful thinkers such. I am pricing this at a very fair no reserve price in consideration of the minor issues.
As the pictures show, this tractor has been well taken care of and was also repainted to bring back luster. If you happen to have one or comparable x series would be interested in a partial trade, I consider that as long there are no buyers this offer yet. The tractor runs awesome. The leak is dripping down actuation shafts that go into transmission, and I am told culprit axle seal, which requires pulling entire out to replace.
I have my eyes on a deere 455 with 60 deck for sale here locally that will likely be purchasing once sell this. I have not tried to troubleshoot, so no idea if it is a loose connection, bad relay or what Willy's Jeepster w original engine90s Scorpio 280 trials bike1070 deere belly mower 2000 Yamaha vmx1200 vmax1947 8 Studebaker truck 3 KTM 65s 87 Kawasaki kx5002008 beta 250-4t bike couple of 600 GSX project bikes 60 Dixie chopper.
